Our Communities

Communities

At the heart of things making a difference

We're committed to positively affecting the communities that we live and work alongside. Our strong track record of being there when we’re needed is testament to this. Whether we’re clearing trees after a storm or donating fruit for a charity fundraiser, we'll always do what we can to help.

Education

It's critical that our children know where their food actually comes from

Here at The Summer Berry Company, children can walk around our farms, surrounded by the process of production, with jewel-like fruit hanging right in front of their eyes.

A warm welcome is always offered to schools interested in understanding responsible commercial farming on a large scale, as well as observing the abundant wildlife that calls our farms home.

Helping Others

The Summer Berry Company Foundation supports people who need it

The TSBC foundation exists to raise funds through charity donations from both staff and the business to allow us to support good causes. To date TSBC sites have raised and distributed over 100,000 pounds. Colworth Farm has also played host to over 20 workers from our charity farm in Mityana in Uganda, who have lived and worked with us for our berry season before returning home with new skills.

We are so proud of what the Foundation has achieved and the positive effect that it has had. I sincerely hope that it continues to go from strength to strength. In my opinion , it is one of the key things that makes TSBC more than just a place to work.
