As well as growing crops in the fields, we’ve also invested in the largest complex of glasshouses - 60 acres - in the industry, featuring state-of-the-art production processes. These glasshouses allow the fruit to grow in warm, dry conditions and be given all that they need in order to grow large and plump - ready to be picked.

Our largest glasshouse is nearly half a kilometre long!
The special thing about Leythorne is that we grow the best fruit indoors. All of our berries are contained within 26 hectares of glasshouse, where the long sunny Sussex days allow us to grow between February and December.Ed Moorhouse, Glasshouse Manager
The main campsite in the south is located at our Colworth farm, but we also have a small campsite at the Donaldsons site. With Chichester on the doorstep, it’s easy to enjoy a quiet stroll along the old cobbled streets of this beautiful Roman city. There are weekly fresh produce markets, beautiful parks and gardens, the historic cathedral, and a range of shops, cafes, bars and restaurants. You’ll always find something to enjoy!
You can also take a train to the popular seaside town of Brighton or Portsmouth, which are both close by, or catch a bus to the beautiful sandy beaches of West Wittering where you can walk, swim or simply lie down in the sun and relax.
